Should have really made more of a battle!!! There was quite a bit of suspense there in this one, and I like how you (once again) effectively used the fly-by background, that looks good.
The rest of the graphics and animation were nice, but you definately should have made the fight around 3 times longer before cutting the movie off, that was disappointing!

Was the movie supposed to run so slowly at the beginning when BFC is in the field? Because hot damn that crawled along for me... on low quality, too.
Anyways, this was a bit short and rushed for me. I think it would have been funnier if Brit had said something more offensive rather than 'heads up' (like, 'catch this, asshole' or something, I don't know). The techno music would have been more effective if it was slowed down a tad more, so maybe some people could identify with the song.... and piclownjew? Well, he's funny... but, unneccessary here.

I normally don't enjoy sprite movies, nor watch them in their entirety, but this really had me watching right to the end! I appreciate how much effort you put into this, as it seems to have some form of story line, and you didn't bottom out on the smoothness of the animation halfway through the movie, it was good quality right through. It was nice to see you using a lot of different backgrounds and themes for the movie, it kept it fresh and avoided becoming boring.
I didn't really understand the ending, though... they fight for the entire movie, but then at the end Zero says he will repair X, and that he's sorry.... w.h.a.t?? haha. Anyways, nice sprite movie.

That was definately more enjoyable than the first, but also far more frustrating! Man I would have loved checkpoints that you went back to if you fell down a level! I ended up stopping at the second vertical moving rock, I just cracked haha. Very fun to play, lots of new objects, and lots more gameplay.
Good addition to a solid platformer.

Considering how smooth this ran all up, it seems like it would make for something really good to expand on, and make more levels/different goals/maybe some enemies or something. Hey, if you ever get bored again, at least you've got something solid to work on haha.
Graphics were neat, gameplay was reasonably good, but you may want to fix up the need to keep jumping on moving objects as you pointed out. Nice little platform.

Truffle, you didn't put as much effort into yours as the others, but listening to a good old PCJ wail was fun fun :D
I laffed at Albino's submission, it was great that you had pcj flying around in the background of the picture, that was just great haha.
Albino - It was a bit weird that you didn't have any sound in yours, but I liked the graphics and the the random violence wasn't bad.

Overall, it gets and 8 out of 10 from me, as I really enjoyed watching for the most part, and nearly all of the animation was either very well done or just plain funny :D
Because you - the crappy collab organizer, S_D - didn't put the animator's name on screen when their part was playing, I couldn't properly distinguish perfectly between different people, and thus I can't give them individual feedback.
But I really liked the first half in this. Bezman did a good job of setting up the movie with his well drawn still pictures. And S_D your animation was smooth as always.
I liked the random fighting scenes everywhere, and the fact that most of it mad eno sence was very amusing. The song was nice and upbeat (I'm going to go get it now :P), and although this movie as a whole dropped off a bit at the halfway point, it was very well made all up. Well done, guys.

This was a major, major improvement from your previous submission. I think overall it worked out quite well - the story line was good, the pace was a lot slower and easier to follow compared to your first movie, and it was pretty funny, too!
The beginning could have used some definate improvement, though, as the characters look like they'd been created in about 10 seconds with the paintbrush tool... But, it all went uphill from there, and I found that this was a pretty funny little movie. The show-up of Fungus Prime was great, a good finish dude, nice work :P

Whilst you don't mention any specific moments, it seems you chose which aspects to praise quite thoughtfully.

Fairly specific criticism. Good stuff. Could be more specific yet, of course (I assume it was the lack of visual detail that you felt weakened the opening characters? What about the lack of colour? I don't know... though presume you still weren't too keen on my purple usage.)

Very positive ending.
I like the review. My main criticism would be that it didn't have enough criticism. You could have mentioned the dodgy buttons. You could have mentioned any other number of sub-standard graphical effects. Or maybe some section of the story you found weaker than the rest?
I just felt like there was a lot more constructive crit. you could have given. It's nice hearing the praise as well though, but CC's more useful imo.

Can't really give this anything above a 0/10, because even for a first flash it was indeed pure rubbish.
The graphics as you said are simply worthless... and although you avoided the first-timer technique of animating things extremely slowly, you made the movement so fast that this became very short, and hard to follow.
Even though your first 20 favourite colours are purple doesn't mean that a flash should mainly consist of these colours, and it shows here. Graphics should have been far more concrete and recognisable.
No audio, as is expected with a first flash, and overall I got nothing out of it.
I'm clueless as to why this attained a score of 3/5 :S... Gets a nice zero in my opinion.

I've never seen anyone with as high a review count as yourself who actually writes quality reviews.
As a quick defense, I'll say that I do actually find this flash mildly amusing. It's my sense of humour. Personal. Subjective and all that.
Actually, maybe it's me just laughing, thinking about the fact that I actually made this shit so many years ago and actually submitted it... enh.
I disagree with your first line "that's not even a joke, my man..." if taken literally, but the rest of your review is spot on.
(And besides, I really shouldn't be being so pedantic...)

Or maybe it's hard to follow because there isn't actually any story to speak of? I mean... fertiliser sprays on mushroom, mushroom goes bang, you get a moral. Maybe you just think it's going to fast because you were expecting an attempt at something better?

Too true. It took me an alarmingly long time to realise I probably should use other colours...

Back in the day, when I desperately wanted another review, I thought maybe if I could raise the score, more folk would see it. So I bumped up the score myself.
I'm not proud of it, but there it is.
With my forthcoming stuff, of course, I'll be aiming for awards or later acclaim to ensure feedback and exposure.
Your review does lack any positivity, which I'd normally mark you down for. But I'll take the shit subject matter into consideration.
Your criticism is excellent and constructive. (And CC is always better than praise anyway.)
Nice summary and you really make me 'feel' your confusion and bewilderment at the shittiness.
